This site is designed for parents, teachers
and others who work with young children in elementary school. Our mission is to improve student attendance in elementary school.
The mission of the Santa Cruz County Children’s Network is to improve opportunities for all young people and their families.
In September 2000, the Children’s Network membership adopted the Community Goal: Students will graduate from high school job-ready or prepared for higher education. By focusing on the early years of schooling, we hope to help students and their families bond with their schools and continue this bond as they move through their education.
This website will provide tools and information addressing many of the common problems families face from dealing with lice outbreaks to managing school avoidance.
We thank the community sponsors who have helped us provide incentives and various resources to our schools:
-
Santa Cruz County Housing Authority
-
Latino Strategic Planning Council
